Steve is Chief Information Officer and SVP at 1800 Flowers, one of the leading gifting companies in the world. I was especially interested in getting Steve's take on "the Cloud" — arguably the most hyped "technology" in recent years. I knew that Steve had implemented both virtualization and a Cloud and was eager to get his views. I've always known Steve as a demanding, straight-talking CIO and was counting on him to share the unvarnished truth about his cloud experiences at 1800 Flowers — in plain English.
